About Ayudame NYC.

Service and community are the cornerstone of Liliana’s values. She has dedicated her adult life to improving the lives of Harlem residents in need. In those years of service she observed the systemic obstacles that prevent working class, low-income, immigrant communities from accessing information and support. She created AyudameNYC as a bridge to link and connect NYC residents to resources and support.
Liliana’s work history includes working at the New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce and at Arista UAC, a Bronx based affordable housing company. Recognizing the many language obstacles immigrant families face, she enrolled in the City College of New York and earned a professional certification in Medical and advanced English/Spanish translation. In 2018, at the West Harlem Development Corporation, Liliana created a computer literacy program that taught monolingual Spanish-speaking seniors fundamental computer skills.
At her current position, Liliana contributes to the essential work of helping keep people in their homes. Liliana understands the unique challenges and limited choices marginalized communities face every day. AyudameNYC exists to offer direct and effective intervention that expands resources and equity to NYC to working class, low-income, immigrant NYC communities.
